The 9th EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition honors the Region of Central Macedonia this year.

Many professionals operating within the geographical boundaries of the Region will participate in the 9th EXPOTROF to present the “strong cards” of Central Macedonia, such as cheese products, olive oil, vinegar, juices, sweets and jams, sauces and pastries, and of course the wines of the region.

The Region of Central Macedonia, as part of its policy for the promotion and promotion of the region’s products, participates with a single venue in the 9th EXPOTROF 2023 – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition, which will take place from February 4 to 6, 2023, at the MEC PEANIAS in Athens.

The aimed of the region is to present, through producers and their products, the prominent position that the Region of Central Macedonia holds in the production of quality agricultural products.

In order to achieve the best possible coordination, organization and participation of the Region in the exhibition, interested companies wishing to participate in order to display their products through the single configured stand of the Region are requested to register their interest in the e-mails : [email protected] or [email protected] as soon as possible and no later than Friday, September 23, 2022.

Due to a certain number of stands, a priority order will be observed

A basic condition for the participation of businesses is that their products have been produced/standardized/processed within the Region of Central Macedonia, as well as that the name of the business or the label on the packaging of the products do not refer to another region.

EXPOTROF comes for the 9th year to offer its exhibitors effective means of promoting and developing their business activities.

From 04 to 06 February 2023, at MEC Paanias, the 9th EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition welcomes important buyers from the retail (super market, grocery stores, delicatessen), Tourism (Hotels, villas, yachting etc) and Catering sectors (Restaurants, bars, wine), in a specially designed space, where companies will have the opportunity to meet directly with the producers of the exhibition and conclude commercial agreements with them.

In addition, all producers will have the opportunity to showcase their products for free and online, through the specially designed platform www.thedelifair.gr, for a whole year and to talk with businesses from Greece and abroad through virtual B2B meetings.

The aim of this initiative is to highlight the quality and uniqueness of local products, to stimulate business activity and to strengthen Greek extroversion.

The award-winning exhibition EXPOTROF, listening to the needs of the market, returns from Saturday 04 to Monday 06 February 2023 at Mec Peanias, as the first F2B exhibition that answers the essential issues of Greek producers.

The 9th EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition introduces for the first time the term F2B [Food to Business] aiming at business meetings between producers and distribution channels, wanting to provide solutions to key issues, such as those of the constantly growing need for products of high nutritional and taste value and the need to develop new distribution channels.

EXPOTROF thus becomes the first purely F2B exhibition of artisanal products of small production and delicatessen products in Greece. In this context, the large retail (super market), small retail (grocery stores, delicatessen), Tourism (Hotels, villas, yachting etc) and Catering (Restaurants, bars, wine) sectors are included, under the common umbrella of exhibition, where every year in February, important buyers will have the opportunity to meet the producers directly at the beginning of the season.

In addition, all producers will have the opportunity to present their products for free and online, through the specially designed platform www.thedelifair.gr, for a whole year and to talk with businesses from Greece and abroad through virtual B2B meetings.

For the first time at EXPOTROF, specialized seminars will be held for industry professionals on topics that concern business promotion, food safety, food waste, new culinary trends, the “secrets” of culinary art and much more.

The 9th EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition honors the Region of Central Macedonia this year. On the “Cooking Greece” stage, distinguished chefs, hosted by Costas Bougiouri, will present Greek recipes from every corner of Greece, using the premium products of the producers of the exhibition, while targeted workshops will be held around the culinary art and “Food Expert Stories” by successful industry professionals.

Finally, at the 9th EXPOTROF – The Greek Fine Food Exhibition, the Athens Fine Food Awards 2023 will be awarded, the most important quality and taste awards for Greek producers of Premium products.
